Healthy Gut Equals Healthy Behaviors

Did you know that the right nutrition will lead to a healthy gut and healthy behaviors! Many children, especially between 0-5 years old suffer from poor nutrition. That leads to ADD or NDD (nutrition deficit disorder). Those both are behavioral disorders do to a lack of nutrients during the prime time of brain grow. About 80-90% of the brain is developed by age 5. That sound crazy right, how is that even possible. Well the brain continues to become stronger and stronger throughout adolescence years but the actual size only has to grow about 10-20% more until age 25. This is so important to know because that first 5 years of life decides what the brain can do, comprehend, visualize and much more.

Now that being said, it's never too late to start changing your lifestyle or your child’s lifestyle because your brain is filled of neurotransmitters that decide how you function. Bad food blocks that neurotransmitters from functioning properly, were as good foods feed the neurotransmitters, which then feeds the brain. If your eating bad foods the brain is never fed and the messages between the cells to the receptor sites fail or diminish. That might not make any sense to you but think of it like a computer. If your constantly feeding your computer with garbage (viruses), your computer will eventually become very slow or not work. Same with humans and food. Sometimes your brain just needs to start being fed healthy foods to start functioning properly.

When it comes to a child, it's a lot easier to train their brain to eat healthier, than it is for an adult. Adults, it will take a little more patients for your taste buds to change and for your body to want those foods. But once your body converts to wanting healthier foods, you won't want those foods filled with artificial ingredients. So if your a parent, start feeding your children the healthier foods now so that they never have to make those changes later on in life. When your an adult, you have a choice of the foods you eat. As a child, you are eating whatever your parent is feeding you. For some parents, this will be harder depending on the environment and lifestyle you live but it's highly beneficial for your child's health. Bad foods over time equal; cancer, autoimmune disease or known illness. Why do you want that for your children or yourself.
