Why are we not eating something that is so healthy for us and listening to old medical research that tells you not to eat them? Or better yet, listening to doctors that do not keep up with research. I cringe every-time I hear, "well my doctor said I can’t eat eggs because my cholesterol is too high." Tell me something, did your doctor ask you about your other eating habits? Do they ask if you are eating artificial foods or foods with high levels of preservatives in it? My guess is, know they absolutely did not. But really is it their fault, well kind of, but in the same token they don't have time to breathe never mind ask you about your eating habits. Eggs are filled with nutrients that your body very much so benefits from. So why aren’t you eating them? Less and Fewer Americans are eating eggs daily or weekly. Instead, they are eating highly processed foods because the foods state “low cholesterol” on the front of the package.
As stated in Eggnutritioncenter.org “A randomized controlled study in people with metabolic syndrome showed that those consuming three whole eggs per day as part of a reduced carbohydrate diet experienced favorable changes in HDL-cholesterol, insulin sensitivity, and other aspects of the lipoprotein-lipid profile. It also states “A randomized controlled weight loss trial in people with diagnosed type 2 diabetes showed improved lipid and glucose markers following consumption of 2 eggs per day for 12 weeks.” So the research is there and proven that eating eggs can actually help your HDL cholesterol levels, which then in effect will help lower your LDL “bad cholesterol. When you help your good cholesterol “HDL”, your bad cholesterol “LDL” is then returned to your liver for storage to be used in a beneficial way. You never want too much LDL Cholesterol moving around in your bloodstream, so eat more eggs and that will start helping that problem.
There is so much research out there that shows the significance that eggs have on your Cardiometabolic System. Eggs do not raise your cholesterol, artificial foods like, preservatives, soda, none 100% juice, artificial color, McDonald's, Burger King, and pizza are the reason for your LDL to be too high and HDL to be to low. You get my point if you simply stopped eating bad foods your LDL and HDL would be more controlled. Now, there are many people that have abnormal cholesterol starting as early as the age of 2 and progressively worsen with age but again diet means everything. If that 2-year-old ate what they should the rest of their life and stayed active, they would start breaking down their genetics. Everything is a habit and if we learned to break those habits your children are far less likely to develop diseases. If we have issues with cholesterol, there are ways to monitor and treat it so that you lower your risk of having cardiovascular problems. Start breaking down your genetics so that the future children in your family have less risk of developing cardiovascular problems.
